A tuned piano is a stable instrument. Regular tuning helps keep your piano sounding its best
and preserves the soundboard and all the other wood construction of your piano. If your piano

How long have you been in business?
I have been in piano repair all my life since about 1970. Frank's Piano Tuning & Repair is my business since 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
I tune pianos and do minor repairs. I do what's called action regulation which is for making the piano responsive to the pianists touch. I also provide cleaning of the piano.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father was a technician and piano rebuilder and so I had constant exposure to pianos and soon learned the trade at a young age and was good at it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One thing I learned from my dad was simply putting the customer first. And that means being honest about presenting expert advise on needed repairs and presenting the value of each repair decision dependant on what is best for the long term desires for the customer.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept cash or check at time of the tuning visit.
Which areas do you service?
I service all of King county and all of pierce county. I service Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the owner and administrator.
What are your hours of operation?
Appointments vary and are dependant on customer needs.
