Trash Compaction Machine for Open-Top Roll-Off Containers
Roll-Pack technology is the only compaction system that will compact waste in open bins (20-50 cu yd). The Mammoth has shown to have a compaction ratio of 4-1 to 10-1 depending on the type of waste. This means that 4 to 10 times as much waste can be placed in each bin, allowing the bins to be picked up 10% to 25% of the usual rate.
There are advantages of compacting open-top roll-off bins as opposed to conventional compactors. With conventional compaction machines, the same "box" needs to be brought back to the original site after being emptied at the landfill. Open-top roll-off bins are interchangeable and exchanged at time of pick up. There is no need to make a return trip to the original location, thus reducing trips by 50%. Also, much more waste can be compacted into an open-top bin than a conventional compactor.
