I always wanted to do something that benefited others. I come from a family of educators, and in some ways , I am an educator of insurance.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Before you do business with a company, you always do business with a person. If you like and trust the person, you're more likely to do business with them, wouldn't you agree? At Farmers, we are trained to think first of what will make the most sense and will most benefit the customer. But, you know what? It didn't take much training; I resolved long ago to treat other people the way I want to be treated, or the way I'd want a member of my family to be treated.
