Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
I have been a criminal attorney since 2004 and established my private practice law firm in 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
The defense of crimes that includes DUI/DWI, Domestic Violence Defense, Juvenile Defense, and other criminal defense.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
When working as a Deputy Prosecutor for Pierce County, I realized how unfair the legal system can be for those accused of a crime. I saw too many defendants with inadequate legal representation and felt that I could help defend people and provide them with the best possible legal representation.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I only handle criminal defense cases and this allows me to stay on the cutting edge of my field. Also, by not taking on too many clients and taking cases outside of my core practice areas, my clients are able to get the best possible defense at an affordable price.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location in North Tacoma. No plans for expansion. I feel that the personalized service that clients receive is a big selling point of my firm. I feel that creating multiple locations and a big firm business model would not be in the best interest of my clients. I think that businesses who think of themselves first are really missing the point.
Which areas do you service?
Primarily Pierce and King County.
What are your hours of operation?
I am available at my law office by appointment M-F and am available by telephone seven days per week for consultations.
